"body_md": "Donlin Gold has signed a long-awaited gas supply agreement tied to the Alaska LNG pipeline, linking the Donlin gold project in Alaska's Southwest region to the state's largest energy development for the first time. The agreement connects the project, located in the Kuskokwim region, to future natural gas flowing across the state.\n\nFor the mine, the deal means lower-cost power for operations. It also lays the groundwork for pipelines, roads, and long-term development in Southwest Alaska, a part of the state that has never had energy infrastructure at this scale.\n\nThe agreement has been discussed for years. It is now final.\n\nThe deal moves Donlin closer to construction and gives the Alaska LNG pipeline another anchor customer with serious demand.",
