"body_md": "Big Dipper Homemade Ice Cream, founded by Rob and Lisa Brown in Palmer in 2021, has opened a new Wasilla location at the Shoppes at Sun Mountain, next to Tacos Cancun. The move replaces the company's previous Wasilla shop at the Clock Tower mall.\n\nThe opening drew a line that stretched out the door and down the block.\n\nBig Dipper now operates shops in Palmer, Wasilla and near Lazy Landing, along with an exclusive flavor offered in Big Lake. In five years the company has created more than 75 flavors, with a goal of including an Alaska ingredient in each one, from carrots grown on local farms to Wasilla honey and birch syrup sourced along the highway.\n\nThe newest flavor, Reds Are Running, blends salmonberries with Alaska smoked salt as a nod to red salmon season.\n\nBig Dipper's wholesale business has doubled this year, shipping Alaska-made ice cream to communities including Ketchikan, McCarthy and Nome.",
