"body_md": "Treeforms Furniture Gallery is closing its Wasilla store and consolidating its operations into a 102,000 square foot building in Midtown Anchorage that was recently purchased by its parent company. The consolidation anchors the Anchorage showroom alongside Nordic Spaces, a newer home design brand the company opened next door.\n\nFor Valley shoppers, the closure of the Wasilla location means driving to Anchorage for Treeforms products rather than waiting for another store to open closer to home.\n\nThe consolidation fills a large commercial space in Midtown, a district where big vacancies have been hard to fill, and it strengthens a cluster of home design retailers near Benson Boulevard and A Street.\n\nTreeforms is keeping its Anchorage showroom running while folding the Wasilla business into the Midtown property, according to akbizmag.com.",
